I gave it more than 30 mins but no sign of satellites, not even grey bars!
Phoned Garmin today & am taking to them next week.

My Garmin Etrex Vista keeps searching for, but will not aquire any satellites,and the date on it is reading 24th October. I took the batteries out of it about 3 weeks ago as I wasn't using it ... |

I am thinking of getting either memory map or Tracklog digital mapping to use with Garmin handheld GPS has anyone used either/both these products? and if so which did they find best?

I have looked at the Anquet site but I live in the south (Isle of Wight) and most of my walking is done in the Southern Region and the Harvy maps are the Peaks, Lakes ... |
