It depends on the file format Satmap uses for the maps and the way it's programmed.
For comparison, on Memory Map the mainland UK mapping at 1:25k occupies around 12Gb, but MM can't handle map file ... |

Because of the OS. Image -- Export is always disabled in the UK edition when an OS-based map product is being viewed. |
