The problem might be that tomtom use different Screens
in batches
As far as I know they use TFT's from
Samsung, Philips and Sharp

Reset your unit (using paper clip)
HOLD POWER BUTTON down ...

The only Cloud that affects SAt Nav Signal is

(1) Snow
(2) Electro or Lightning Clouds

Or Solar Flares

Gps also works better at night as there is less interference

Update on the "Speed of Search"
This is because the Software no longer splits
the Uk into Wales,Scotland and England
It is only split into the UK and Ireland

It does however mean you are nnot go ...

DONT THINK SO..

Have been using one of these for 10 days
Absolutely NO ISSUES

All the map data is under one section
i.e. no seperate folder for
Scotland
england
...

The 520 seems very similar to the 510
Case is Satin Black, Exactly same Size shape
and all connectors etc in exactly same position.
Gps Antenna looks identical too.

The Unit comes with a 512 ...

The Version with the Icn520 is smart ST2005
and the maps are version 3.5
(Currently V3 with ICN 510)

For anyone thats wondering the Maps with the new 520 are
only V3.50 Not new Version 4 coming soon

There should be a diode somewhere in the Charger
plug circuit

This would only allow power to flow into the Navman not back out
of it
