I've sorted it. Hard reset and reinstallation. Tedious but it worked! |

It's the Tomttom GPS and it's a Tosh e350. Sadly it's nothing to do with unrecognised roads. This is a permanent problem - that's why the hard reset: it never gets a fix again. The GPS status screen j ... |

Yes I think the 'on off on' sequence is probably the answer.
Reinstalling the old driver doesn't work because (something I had forgotten about!) the old driver doesn't actually work at al ... |

Thanks for all the replies guys.
I've now been exiting the application and switching the Tosh off every time I switch off the ignition.
Might be a bit of overkill but the problem hasn' ... |

Has anyone discovered a decent alternative to the cradle supplied with the Tomtom package? The cradle with the squeezy jaws doesn't remain closed, allowing the PC to drop out.
