Might the bug be causing the GPS to compute the values in metres despite you have set feet.
I don't think so. The figures I am getting are roughly half what they should be: metres instead of feet ... |

I use the MapSource Topo GB maps on my Vista HCx.
I know people have criticized these maps, but they are amazing in most respects. Contour information is great, and road routing is good too.
