Having successfully wired up the rider on the bike (using 1 amp in-line fuse) a test ride established all functions working OK, all the time! No restricted menu when riding! So no need to use the tape ... |

I'm going to connect the TomTom supplied cable for the rider mount directly to the battery. The mains charger is rated at 5V,2A so I think a 1 Amp in-line fuse should suffice for the 12V bike cable. P ... |
