| Tried with TuneIn Radio (Radio5) in background and CamerAlert in foreground. It correctly lowered volume and returned after camera warning message but after AllClear, the volume stayed lower. |

How are you powering your device? And when you say 'dims sound' do you mean the volume is lowered or the screen backlight is dimmed?

CamerAlert 1.2 (which is currently sitting with Apple waiting for review) fully resolves the 'fade' issue seen in 4.01, 4.02 and 4.1.

Average Speed Camas are also known as SPECS.
I thought all the voices came with a SPECS voice file. Which voice pack did you download?
