GPS Solution

I was wondering what GPS solution would best suit my needs. Primarily it will be used in car, but I would also like it to also use it while camping or hiking. I would like to log my travels and also have the ability to acquire my current position.

The handheld GPS receivers I looked at do not show more the main highways so I want to use my iPAQ so I can upload maps to it. The iPAQ will work fine in the car as it will have a source of power, however while camping or hiking at best I can look for 3 hours of use.

So what I would like would be a GPS logger that can communicate with my iPAQ to acquire my current position and also to download my route.

I have an iPAQ 4150 with bluetooth.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You could try a Fortuna Bluetooth GPS. This is a handheld GPS with a display, so you can get your position out of the car, and in-car you can use it with TomTom navigator or whatever on your iPaq
