Hi

Just bought X3 with BMW professional sat nav. There seems no way to load camera database, anyone had this problem ? Garage BMW genius wasn't.

I had the Same problem with my wife's Mini. From my research on many forums, the BM sat navs don't appear to support 3rd party POIs. I resorted to just running CamerAlert on her iPhone (no maps), the iPhone is linked to the car by Bluetooth and she gets the warnings regardless of whether she's using the sat nav or not.

We have both a BMW 4 series and a Mini with sat nav and having spoken directly to BMW they have confirmed that neither system will support 3rd party POIs.

As a result I use an android tablet with CamAlert and I find that it does the job.
