Taking Go for a long ride

Tomorrow i fly home, for a quick trip and will be taking the GO with me to show it off, not that it will do much, in the middle of the outback.
Anyway the real reason for this is on my return will the GO be ok as regards finding out where it is, as i saw a post from Dave saying that it can take a while in these cases to get a TTFF.

Whenever you move a large distance with the unit turned off then switch on it will need to locate itself as the sky view it expects to see will be different to that which it can see.

It won't cause any problems but will result in extended first fix time. This is longer because once it realises it cannot see the SV's (satellites) it expects it downloads a new almanac table and refreshes it's ephemeris data.

Thanks for that Darren. Am i right in thinking that the only screen visible would be the GPS status screen?.
