Hi,

I seem to remember reading somewhere that it is a common fault for the rubbers side grips to become 'unstuck' and that gluing them back may invalidate the warranty. I also seem to remember someone saying that HPwill post a new set out under warranty for user replacement. I've seen the video on their support site on how to do it but I don't know who to contact to get a replacement set of grips.

Can anyone tell me who to contact and how?

My Ipaq is under warrant still, of course.

Regards

BH

I have 2x2210's and managed to get one set of replacements, a few months later tried to do the same for the second iPAQ and HP wouldn't send any out. Your best bet would be to search for SIDE GRIP in the forum for the number, failing that purchase a PPC Tech's metal screw on side grips, these are much better but will set you back around a call £15-20 for a pair.

Thanks for the advice, searched for thread, found number, called it, new grips on way Clap

BTW, the guy at HP said they were 'improved' as they have had a few reports of problems.

He also said that he thought the 'improvement' was a new connection method.

We'll see Rolling Eyes
