I knew I was meant to change the mode before flashing but I changed it to the wrong mode. It didn't help that the first page of the PDF instructions keep disappearing because it requires Chinese language installation.

Has anybody a flash image for flashing the ST chip back to the way is was. I can't seem to get a fix in ST or XT mode.

Unfortunately, no one has been kind enough to shed some light into how to accomplish that, not even fortuna tech support.

My device still works but I'm getting quite a bit of lag - it's around 50m behind when I'm walking in both ST and XT modes.

I've got an ST firmware off Fortuna this morning. I've put it on my server:

Put the device in ST mode before you flash the ST firmware and follow the same procedure as flashing the XT firmware. I've just flashed mine ok, I will try out the receiver sometime later to see if it works any better.

ST mode seems to work again. Tried XT mode, the first time I was getting lots of lag and 'sticking' but the second time it seemed to work ok. At least my receiver is usable again. Smile
