Fortuna - IPAQ5500 - TomTom Navigator 3.01 - HELP !!

Hi,

Can't get the above combination to work. Have established a bluetooth connection but the TomTom GPS will not search for any sats.

Does anyone know the correct settings ??

What settings are you trying? IIRC COM8 is the correct Port for BT Serial Devices and the default Baud Rate is 38400 for Fortuna BT GPS.

Hi,

I've tried the NMEA 0183 v2 at 3400bs driver connecting via the bluetooth on com 8 and no joy!

) that you could not tick the box in the TTNav GPS Driver when selecting Com8. This suggest that either COM8 is incorrect or it's in use already by soemthing else.

Soft reset the 5500 and then try selecting Com 8 again,

I am using ipaq 3870 with clip on try SRF38400 Bluetooth serial port Com 5 this works for me Com 8 does not
