Hi,

My 720 is getting on a bit now, still works OK but I wonder for how much longer.

Do any of the new TT's have itinerary planning (I build my itineraries in Tyre and drop them into the map folder using explorer) with multiple points?

I'd also be looking for HD traffic.

Thanks in advance

PS - it must also be able to accept the pocketgps speed camera database as well.

Thanks.

Alternatively has Garmin caught up TT on their traffic/routing options and now have a viable offering?

I swop and change between my TomTom Go 6000 and Garmin 3598D + Connected Smartphone App every few days

The Garmin (with 4.3 latest update) routing is almost there with TomTom (in fact, now often the same route). ETA isn't quite as accurate for me on the Garmin

Traffic wise and over the past few weeks I would say - Forget TMC, Forget Smartphone App, go Digital with the Garmin (D editions) and it is as good - sometimes better - than TomTom

I say that reluctantly as my TomToms traffic has always been way ahead but now I would hesitantly say Garmin have caught up. Time will tell

(Trafffic jams seems similar on both, traffic works and road closures better on Garmins Digital Traffic)
