I just wondered if it was worth buying a new sat nav or updating my maps, The update for the maps is around 45 pounds.

have many super features been added, I like the sound of having live information and rerouting but don't want to pay for this feature every month.

How does it work? Im also thinking somes satnavs now come with unlimited map updates.

Should I buy new or just update and keep the Go 720

Thanks

I would stick with what you have. Forget the map updates until you find the changes are annoying you. Unless you live near a new motorway, it may take some time before you find an error.

If you live near a new street that is not on your map, check with someone here before upgrading. There is no guarantee that any small roads are updated promptly.

When I had an older Tomtom, I used to upgrade about every 3 years and even then it wasn't always necessary. I found map upgrades to be a big disappointment.

it comes down to personal preference but with lifetime maps and traffic for under £150 i can see people being tempted
