I have the 2595 and have downloaded the base camp.
I am trying to plan a route from Calais(France) to Marbella(Spain) via Porto and Faro in Portugal. NOw sorry if this is a stupid question, but why cant I type in the start location, the 2 waypoints and the final destination. I have tried doing it but just gives me straight lines from point a to b, what i need is a detailed route and yes I have told it that we are driving a motor vehicle, am i missing something simple.
Appreciate any advice. Thankyou |

Possibly 
What map do you have selected in Basecamp? I suspect you don't have CN EU selected, once you do that open the route and hit the recalculate button ... you should then get the calculated route  |

Only have Global Map......................no others on show, have to purchase the CN EU at $99!!!!!!!!!! |

No you don't. Basecamp will read the map from your nuvi when it's connected.
Also when you next update your maps ensure you download them to your GPS and your PC. Then they'll be available in Basecamp without the need to connect your GPS. And definitely no need to pay 99 of anything. |
