For several weeks now there have been 50 MPH speed restrictions on the M25, specifically between junctions 24 - 26 and 6 - 7. The former have been in place for at least 6 weeks yet they do not show up on my TT 1000. This has become really frustrating as HD traffic interprets this as traffic because everything is going below 70 mph. Is there any reason why it would take Tomtom so long to update this info considering the vast number of drivers this effects? Alternatively is it just me who is seeing this problem?

Thanks

Ben

I assume you are talking about TomTom's OWN speed camera data?

If so, it's historically been very poor, even many permanent fixed cameras are missing, and they are awful at getting temporary ones added (and taken away again when roadworks have finished).

That's why better alternatives exist, such as the camera database from here. You can bet your life that will be correct after the weekly update.
(I do sometimes wonder whether we need "MaFt2" so it could have a bi-weekly update)

Thanks for your reply Andy

Yes I do use TT's own speed camera database which I have to admit I haven't had too many problems with re missing cameras. What I'm referring to is the fact that the speed limit has changed albeit temporarily on those sections of motorway and therefore traffic is shown where non exists because the HD traffic system thinks everything is going "slowly".

Well, is it not going slowly compared with when there is no lower speed limit?
