Garmin Nuvo 2300 Sudden Failure

Hi all, first post! I was using my sat nav today and at first, it behaved normally.

Then I attempted to turn it on, but I couldn't. It wouldn't work, even when plugged in to the in-car charger.

Can the battery fail suddenly and would it cause this fault? Thanks for any replies!

Hi,
It may well have just locked up

Try holding down the power button for several seconds and with luck it will reboot.

Then let go of the power button.

Hi, that's nuts!! I tried that around a dozen times earlier today, with no luck. Just read your post, gave it another try and it worked!
