Been trying to get voice projected camera announcements for Nissan connect but with no luck- it does say at the bottom of the camera page that if Nissan connect has a facility for MP3 to contact us (pocket world) Nissan connect does have this facility so does that mean that voice announcements are possible.

As far as I'm aware the Nissan Connect can play MP3 for music. BUT it cannot use custom MP3 files for alerting to cameras.
