Cant get Dconnex DC-230 working with TomTom 3 / HP 4150

hi guys,

Im a total newbie when it comes to GPS, TomTom and Pocket PCs...


I cant for the life of me get my new DConnex bluetooth gps to work with my ipaq 4150 and TomTom 3... Is there any way that one of you who has a similar setup could guide me through the steps?

I've been desperately needing sat nav for ages and now that the gps has eventually turned up (im sure some of you that got the same gps from the same guy on ebay know what im talking about... a paypal complaint sped up delivery loads ;)) im getting very frustrated that i cant get the thing working!

I've just tried running the GPS viewer thing that comes with it on the CD.

I seem to be getting some sort of signal on Com8, but the signal is really poor! im only getting no more than 30 without any fix on no more than 3 satallites. Ill try it again when Im in a more open space (not in the garden with trees around) and hopefully that'll be better.... Maybe then itll work for tomtom

The bluetooth com port on 4150 is com port 6.
