I have recently purchased a Start 60 as a replacement for my 710. I seem only to be able to uninstall camera data not remove it from the device. Is there a way of doing this? If you are wondering why its because I drive all over Europe and in some countries its illegal to have the information on the device so I would rather remove it to be on the safe side.

Thanks

David

You don't indicate which camera data you are referring to. TT or PGPSW?

Richard

Its the Tom Tom ones that were actually on the device when purchased.

I don't have a Nav3 device, but my understanding is that TT don't supply Camera Data for those countries where it is illegal. In France they use Zones, which are legal.

Confirmed....

If you use TT Home (NAV2 models) or MyTomTom (NAV3 models) to update the speed cameras, then it will download a patch.

1. for models on new software it will replace the camera locations in France with the new "zones" or

2. for older models which cannot use the updated software, will just remove the French camera locations completely.
