I have just backed up my Pocket PC 2003 (running on HP5550) using the backup software already on the PDA. Once the backup completed, I started the Tom Tom 3 software. But it wont start. All that happens now is that the rotating circle never stops, and the PDA does not respond to anything. However, the strange thing is that I can still synchronise between the cradle and PC.
I also have the traffic plugin installed.
Anybody come across this problem?
Something's obviously got corrupted. I would be inclined to uninstall Tom Tom, but I don't want to lose any data, which I understand happens when you remove the plugin. |

Interesting you ask this because if I am correct in saying. A soft reset it turning it off with the power button. A hard reset is to insert the stylus into the hole at the base of the IPAQ. Is that right? I'm not 100% sure on the soft reset. |

No - a "soft" reset is inserting the stylus into the little hole on the back of your Ipaq.
A "hard" reset is a lot more drastic! _________________ ___________
