Why why is it not possible to navigate somewhere and still se whar road i'm driving on? I must tap the screen ones to get that info. It there any way to get it to the navigation screen? Its realy good to know. Smile

Agree with you. But its realy good to know what round your driving on. Smile If someone call you

- eyyy, what road are you on?
- Wait and I'll look
- Okey
- I'm on nyströmgatan

This could look like this instead:

- eyy what road are you in?
- nyströmgatan
- okey

=)

I will e-mail tomtom and ask then to implent that feature Smile Thumbs Up

This is much wished for, usually by people new to the system.

The main problem is, I believe, lack of screen space. In the 'safety screen' (or with the map hidden), or with guidance off (when there's no 'next road' to be displayed), the current road is on screen.

The easiest way if you want to get the current road on screen is have a hardware button set to toggle guidance off - press it briefly, the route disappears and your current location is on screen. Press it again and guidance will resume. I find this a very useful function to have on a hardware button - for example, if I pull off a motorway into a service area, I push the button so that Navigator doesn't keep telling me to make various turns to rejoin the carriageway when I'm heading for the car park.

The idea of having the next road in your route on screen is that it helps if there's several possible turns close together, particularly in a city when you may be struggling a little for GPS reception anyway.
