TomTom 825 CamerAlert Download

I've just bought the new 825 and 4Gb SD card. It seems that the card isn't recognized by the GPS as yet, though there's been comment that TomTom are "seeing to this" - watch this space, I guess.

More important, how does one transfer the current CamerAlert database into the 825? Looking at the community files facility, it may be possible to do this one camera group at a time (would take an age with no on-screen facility in My TomTom). Surely there must be a better way than this...

Has anyone managed to find a way of getting grouped POIs onto the 825 - cameras particularly but also the other POIs like Attractions etc?

From what I've read here, try click, then shift click to select multiple files.

Or click and drag works too IIRC. (can't check at the moment for certain reasons)

You can select the .ov2 files and the .bmps and .oggs all at the same time too.
