My GO730 insists at frequent random times that I went to the help me menu and asked to be routed to the nearest police station, Happened on a trip in very hot conditions and is a constant condition now. Is it toast ? with no hope of a cure ?

If you have a screen protector fittted remove it as the device is intended to be used without these fitted, screen protectors are known to cause issues with phantom screen presses.

No screen protector? Get a cardboard business card and insert one corner of it between the screen and the surrounding bezzel, run it around the screen a few times to dig out any debris thats lodged in to the gap, after this the screen should work as intended - Mike
