HP IPAQ RX 5720

HI,

I have never used sat nav before and now I am considering buying HP IPAQ RX 5720 as need it for my bike. Has anyone tried HP IPAQ RX 5720 (I can not really afford bying TomTom RIDER FOR £300).
I have found one on ebay:

It would work but...

PDA's are very prone to damage.

PDA's don't like being outside - you would need a good rugged, waterproof container (Otterbox has been mentioned in these forums before). This would probably make mounting it on handlebar a bit trickier.
