german cameras in europe database?

The european database does not include swiss cameras as the poi warning would be illegal, i have now read that speedcam poi's are illegal in Germany.
1. is the above info correct
2. if yes to above, are german cams in the europe database
2. if yes again, can just german cams be removed from database

Basically it's something to with regional laws and national laws. When I'm a bit more sober I'll find the forum post that explains it in more detail.

Hi bazil-brush....
Another topic about this has started, but it was slightly hidden, in the "dedicated Subscriber section".

I've now moved it into this section and as it already goes into a couple of possible workrounds I think it would be better if we could all continue there and I'll lock this one.
