Problem with HI-302E

I've just bought an Acer N10 which has Navigon 4 installed. I didn't buy the GPS receiver that was also for sale as I have an HI-302E which I used on a Toshiba 570 (Until I broke the touchscreen). I cannot get it to recognise the receiver and when I go into settings there is no option to choose the CF-Generic port, Just Com1, Serial (USB) and 2 IR ports.

Does Navigon not support CF receivers and need Binning or have I missed something.

I would like to try it out to see how it compares to TT2.

Hmmm, dont know if this will help but to get a haicom 302E--Compactflash to work with my laptop, i needed a pcmcia-compactflash adapter (www.scan.co.uk for a fiver). I tried the compact flash 302E in a card reader via a usb lead to the laptop..it lit up and that was about it. It works with the adapter, but meant purchase of the additional antenna as its pretty difficult to put a laptop with compactflash sticking out the side on the windscreen of your car.
