Just received my 2500 mount and wired SGR 300 reciever - just gave it a test drive, but am a little disappointed as Tom Tom 3 is very late on my positions, im like always 200 (10 secs) ahead of the positions Tom Tom is saying i am.

Running on a Ipaq 2210, currently have Tom Tom 3 and the Map installed on CF - thinking this may be the problem with slow updates to my position.

Anyone else had this know how to fix it.

What setting should i select in Tom Tom GPS for the SGR 300 receiever as im thinking this may also be the problem.

Thanks

Spike

Set the receiver to NMEA standard 4800 on port COM1 . Using SiRF protocol sometimes results in a lag.

Spike,

Did you solve your issue? Would you recommend I buy that receiver? Right now Seidio has a very nice promotion on the Mount/GPRS bundle for an iPAQ. Thanks a lot! I will not be buying until I hear that this issue is not widespread.
