Interchangability of Nuvi 660 and 775 mounts

I have a Nuvi 660 and a Nuvi 775. Right now the 775 mount is attached to a Brodit mount on the console. I keep the 660 updated as a backup since I have a lifetime map subscription. What I need to know is whether the 660 can be used on the 775 mount. They appear to be the same on visual inspection but I do not know whether the connections are the same. I realize that the 660 mount has the GTM21 cable connector at the bottem and the 775 is at the side but I do not think that there is any difference there. MY only concern is for the unit connector itself. Any help would be much appreciated.
