My friend has just picked up a 3830 and he was wanting to get a gps receiverfor it. I can't seem to find one though looking on the web. Xan anyone point me in the right direction?
Many thanks
Paul

Given that the 3850 lacks BT his options are:

1. GPS Jacket Type receiver such as Navman or Emtac
2. Mouse type GPS (requires 12v power source)
3. CF Jacket and CF receiver
4. BT Jacket and BT receiver

HP have CF and Cf/BT Jackets available for the 3850, there are many mouse type solutions that are compatible. If you browse our GPS Hardware sections you'll get a better idea.

If the intended use is in-car I'd go for a Mouse type receiver.

The HP / Compaq CompactFlash and Bluetooth expansion pack is discontinued and was never supported on Pocket PC 2003. It seems that all add-on Bluetooth is more troublesome than integrated Bluetooth.

With this in mind I'd suggest keeping clear of Bluetooth and going for either a GPS mouse or CompactFlash expansion pack and CompactFlash GPS.
