Hello folks for months this section of the M1 has had space in the gantries ala M42. Today they have started to be installed (mostly northbound at the moment but certain lanes have been done southbound too..) Be carefull! Cheers Mark |

Have you accurately reported them on the submission map? Be the first (subject to criteria) and you won't have to pay for cam downloads again |

I travelled that way on Saturday, and all the gantries with cameras in that I spotted were already in the PGPSW database.
Tomtom's own alerts were silent.... |

Funny that Andy_P i saw those (if its the one between 24-26 North/southbound) they werent actually installed yet just the gantries and lines were in place, im not calling you a liar mate just wondering if you are talking about the same ones.
They are all the variable type i assume similar to the ones at the brummie end of the M6 and im sure i counted at least 12 gantries on the run.
If i can get a chance this week i may try to get over that way, im gonna need advice how the best way is to mark the locations while travelling at motorway speeds, remember i only have a tomato One but my son does have an Iphone with camalert. _________________ Call Me N3wt for short.....

I think that's what Andy probably meant when he said Andy_P wrote: | all the gantries with cameras in that I spotted were already in the PGPSW database | And the gantries with no cams are presumably not in the database. |

Presactly......
I must have gone past them as I was on the M1 from J1 to J42.
I went past plenty of gantries (I was going slow to save petrol) and all the ones with cameras in had PGPSW alerts and all the ones without them, didn't.
That's all I was saying...
There are hundreds of gantries on our motorways with while lines painted in front of them that have NEVER had cameras installed in years. |

right i stand corrected, thats nothing new for me i tend to misread things in my old age, apologies to andy if i sounded out of order in anyway.
But is the poster referring to the ones between 24-26 when he posted, that set of junctions relates to nottingham area of the m1 and it could be feasible that the cameras are going in today. _________________ Call Me N3wt for short.....
