|
|
Hi
I have a Nuvi 3790T, when I purchased it a few weeks ago I put the PGPSW speed camera database on to it, and managed to download and install the custom voices for the cameras.
Last week I 'lost' the icons and voice from the maps. The POI's are still on the Nuvi, they just don't show up any more.
I know that its probably me doing something stupid but how can I un-stupid please?
I have just updated and the file on the Nuvi shows todays date in the properties. |

Are there option settings to 'display icons on map', and 'give verbal warnings', which may have been reset to "NO" by something you did? _________________ David

Your voice warnings may possibly have gone, because of a change in where PoiLoader stores itself. See my post "Warning" a few before this one.

The only settings that I can find are for the maps Navigation - Car - Map Detail. This then offers 'Less', 'Normal' or 'More'.
I have set 'More'. I would expect the POI's to show up on that, but they do not. Incidentally, I have tried 'Normal' as well, with the same result.
I cannot find any options for 'warning' sounds. |

Thanks for the comment Dales but sox.exe is in the POILoader folder, and the voice files are on the 3790 (I believe). |
