Annoying problem trying to get PC to see my TT720

Being offered a new map I decided to wait till I went to office where they have a really fast Broadband connection, unlike my 2mb speed at home.

Presumably because of some TT Home update I suddenly found the PC did not see the TT, but did see the SD card.
I removed SD card, didn't help.

I removed TT Home 2, and d/loaded fresh.
I pressed reset button several times during day.
I tried various USB ports on my Dell.
I rebooted my laptop several times, as that had cured in past.

In end had to give up; when I got home my other Vista laptop worked flawlessly, and I took the TT Home updates for My Go.
Reconnecting to my coy XP laptop, it now works.

So I'll have to do the long d/load from home in small hours.

TT not being seen by PC seems to be well documented issue, but none of tips worked for me.
