I was resetting my POI warnings after downloading the latest map and discovered that the warning still shows and sounds even if the POI category is disabled. Useful for avoiding map clutter and possibly slowing the display down. _________________ Alan

No - I am suggesting this is a possible benefit. The PGSW cameras still show provided you have enabled a warning even when that particular POI category is not shown. The warning sounds, the icon counting down top left appears and the camera icon is shown on the road (while the warning is displayed)
TomTom cameras definitely deleted. _________________ Alan

That's always been the case, unticking a POI simply stops it's icon being shown on the map, no more. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Yes, and if you've got a POI category set to "Warn when near" but not to show on the map, it still appears on the normal driving display, but only when it is closer then the warning distance and the warning is sounding.
Definitely handy for reducing strain on the poor underpowered processor! |

Nice one Andy - will be useful when I am in France in 10 days time. _________________ Alan
