Hello,

Just installed the new 9.054 application update on my XL Live IQ Routes TomTom and my petrol stations are now appearing on the map as 'house' icons (the same icon used for my home) - not sure what to do to correct this - anyone else experiencing similar problems?!

Are these the TomTom or the PGPSW POIs?

I imagine you'll have to contact TomTom if it's theirs, but if it's ours what bmp file is associated with the ov2 file?

It is TomTom's live services fuel stations - do they have their own bmp file? I can't seem to find it

Does the new update solve the bug (oops, sorry, issue, challenge) raised HERE caused by TT's fuel POIs?

I'm not entirely sure, it seems to have added a different POI icon to the live fuel pricing stations and has changed the bmps associated with the POIs I've downloaded and self created....weird!

(ignoring the LIVE Services issue for a moment)
I had something similar with POI icons on my 940 when I updated it

I noticed the icons for the camera database were screwed up, The fixed 20 mph category was using the 30 mph icon and when I went into the 'warn when near' settings it said (on the normal screen you get first) "Do you want to remove the warnings for {garbage text}".

However, after I changed a couple of things (which would have rewritten the mapsettings.cfg file) it all seemed to come good without me having to reload the camera file or their icons.

The icon is hard coded into the software (it's the same for all their other built-in POIs)

I plugged the TomTom back into the computer today and the live fuel prices updated again - after that hey presto everything was working again and I didn't have to fiddle around with any bmp files - I wonder what caused it
