|
|
I used to have a Garmin and that let me group my favourites into categories or folders - for example I would put all my work related favourites in a groupd called 'Work'.
As far as I can see there isn't anything like this in TomTom - you just have one big list.
Have I got this correct or am I missing a trick somewhere.
Cheers,

Don't store them as Favourites - convert them to POIs. That way you can have as many POI categories as you like (as long as you don't exceed 255!!) _________________ Garmin DriveSmart 50 LMT-D |

... and if you name the POI categories with an underscore at the front:
"_Work"
"_Family"
"_Favourites"
etc.
...then they will appear at the top of the alphabetical list and so be quicker to find. |

I use my favourites as a `Via` function, always worked well for me. _________________ TomTom 700 GO user since Dec 2005.

And as POIs, you won't lose them (TT won't lose them for you!) when you get a new map. _________________ Dennis
