Hi,
My TT3 should AT LAST be arriving today, but i've noticed quite a few people mentioning 256mb memory cards. So my question is I have a 128mb CF card (Left over from Pocket Co Pilot) how much memory do i need to store the whole UK?

Thanks for any advice. (BTW the iPAQ will only have this software installed on it's internal memory)

Jas

The Whole UK map takes just over 100MB, so you should be fine with 128MB. Will be a tight squeeze though if you addon checkpoint for example.

Hi Jas,

If you can wipe the whole of the 128MB CF card then the TTNav3 maps and data should fit onto your CF card. The TomTom website reckons that the whole of the UK map data is 105MB. If you’re lucky you might also be able to squeeze on the UK Postcode program and a few POIs.

NB, you won't be able to install the Major Roads of Europe as they are a further 85MB.

However I’d recommend that you think about a larger card at some point, 256MB minimum but a 512MB would be better, as you can never have enough storage. Thumbs Up

Regards,

Thanks, It is a clean 128mb card (12xspeed too)

I have around 40mb of onboard storage free also, could the postcodes reside there or does it need to be in the same place as the main map data?
