Cameras at night, a quick question

Do mobile vans work at night and do average speed cameras such as those in roadworks work at night ?

Maybe and Yes.

I used to say Mobiles didn't operate at night or at least in the late evening but plenty of reports here that they do.

They key factor is that they have to be able to identify a vehicle and target it accurately at distance so some form of street lighting would be required I'd guess.

As for SPECS, the cameras have infra red illuminators next to them and can operate in total darkness.
