Best Software Config - GPS Driver?

I'm using an iPAQ 3970, Emtac BT GPS, TTNAV 2.24 and CheckPOInt 3.2. I've only just put on the latest ROM & SD fix and now need to re-install all the software.

Recently I did try the v3.01 and then v3.02 GPS drivers and they seemed to work well, however is the this the "best" version to use with v2.24?

Also is there a recommended method for install or doesn't it matter too much. I think in the past I've used the install CD to get 2.x in place, then applied the 2.24 upgrade, then added the GPS driver and finally installed CheckPOInt - is that ok, are soft resets recommended in between each stage?

For 2.24 you better stick with GPS 2.07

You don't need to install 2.00 from the CD. You can directly start with installing 2.24. Not that it would matter though.
