TT Xmas email and GPS Quickfix

Hi all,

Had the Xmas email from TT today and noticed it said:

"Improving GPS

Our GPS fix just got even better! Developments to TomTom's advanced positioning software bring you even more benefits. You can now get quicker satellite fixes, much more accurate positioning in cities and better repositioning while going through tunnels."

Is this just for the x50 devices, or as it reads to me could affect all devices using GPS quickfix?

Anyone know anything further?

v8.371 (and presumably any later versions) have updated GPS firmware which should bring significant GPS performance improvements.

So it's nothing to do with Quickfix itself, but will be available on any model using that software version or developed from it.
