CoPilot + Proxy = No go

I've got CoPilot Central installed behind a proxy that requires authentication. Bottom line is that it doesn't work.

On startup, alk.copilot.updater crashes, but the app still loads. Going to CoPilot Online causes a crash with:

"The request failed with HTTP status 407: Proxy Authentication Required"

There's nowhere to set your username/password in the app, and it doesn't ask when it tries to connect to the internet. I'll log this with ALK, but if anyone else has raised it, what was ALK's response?

Well they obviously don't care about that as you posted in 2008 and I'm just testing today (Dec 2009) and have exactly the same problem.

I'm running CoPilot Central 2.0 on my system at work, on a network that uses a proxy, with no problems. Is is an earlier version you are using?

Edit: I just realised my proxy doesn't require authenticaton...

We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
Have you considered making a donation towards website running costs?.
Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!
