Indeed, Iceland has very few paved roads. Frequent winter flooding and other geological events mean roads move regularly!
For satellite navigation you'll need topographical mapping. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Iceland has a pretty reasonable road network but the roads are a little less fixed than in other areas. Even the main road around Iceland is unsurfaced for a loyt of it's length and could be a little prone to sideways drift at times.
Topographical mapping has got to be the way to go. |
