Compass Pointer Hangs On To Previous "GO-TO"

Does any one else have the problem of when going from waypoint to waypoint ( as in doing a series of geocaches for instance) the compass pointer hangs on to the previous GO-TO even though it has been cancelled ?

For example if I am doing two caches A and B I set up a GO-TO to take me to cache A.Upon completing cache A I delete the GO-TO,the yellow line from my location to the cache on the map clears and I set up a GO-TO for cache B but the compass pointer hangs on to the cache A bearing/direction for a distance.Sometimes it spontaneously jumps to the new bearing,sometimes I have to delete GO-TO a few times and sometimes it doesn't change at all.

The compass pointer on the A10 at the minute is still pointing to my last cache done three or four days ago even though the GO-TO has long been cancelled.

I can't be 100% certain but I can't recall this occurring prior to the 1.4 upgrade.

I could of course be missing something when deleting the GO-TO but I can't see what it is.

I haven't noticed this but will try out on my unit. I do a lot of geocaching but I don't find the compass very helpful so I set one of the data boxes to distance to next waypoint and the other data box to gps accuracy, I find the combination of these boxes a lot easier to use. I also don't have to keep setting and resetting the goto point.

When I have tried the compass rather than navigating to the goto I again switch the compass to navigate to the nearest waypoint.7
