Hi

I managed to buy an ipaq 3830 at a bargain price and silly enough I bought a Rikaline GPS-6031-X7 Bluetooth GPS Receiver as I was under the impression that the ipaq I brought was Bluetooth.

The question is now, what hardware product I need to buy to have my ipaq 3830 to work with my GPS mentioned above.

Any ideas?

Any response I get would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks

jAK

Click here for a link to an item on eBay which looks like it's what you want. Personally though, I'd be inclined to see if you can buy a 3970 at a silly price and get rid of the 3830.

I'd have to agree with Tim - the hassle of trying to add Bluetooth to a non-Bluetooth machine is rarely worthwhile. The expansion pack he made mention of is the best option there is if you can find one - but is not supported in Pocket PC 2003.

I'd agree with Tim also about looking for a 3970 if you can. The 3970 was a very solid machine - so good, in fact, that I'm still using mine as my main Pocket PC, as I'm finding it very hard to justify an upgrade.
