Hi, I've just updated my 520 to v8.351. I much prefer the version 7 software but I had to update to get the latest map.
Anyway, I'll get to the point, is there a way of increasing the size of the camera icons to what they were
Also is there a way of increasing the size of the compass. It's pretty useless as it is. My eyes aint what they used to be.

Assuming you are already using one of the alternative sets of icons from myself or GerryC which come out a tiny bit larger on v8 software, then - Nope, afraid you can't get them big again without reveting to v7.
Same with the compass too, I'm afraid. |

I'm using the x2 icons which come with the camera database, are they the ones you mean?

They are the max size that TomTom can use. Another TomTom super feature  |

Well, almost right. I'm working on a tweak that lets the icon be a bit higher and the text a bit clearer but the smaller icon is all we've got now. The numbers themselves in my 'bignum V8.3' version of the X2 are the same size as the older icons on V7 - they just don't have the red circle. Pocketgps's icons have numbers about the same size as well.
For info, if anyone wants to try it out, icons can be 44px high and 32px wide and still show full size. The only problem is that you have to make the bottom 4 or 6 (can't remember  ) transparent as they go over the distance marking underneath.
