Which x30 model should I buy?

I'd like some advice please.

I was going to pass on my venerable 910 to my daughter and but myself a new x30 model.

I understand that the differences are that the 730 has Europe and 930 has Europe and USA maps. Also that the internal memory is greater for 730 (2gb) and 930 (4Gb)

But, if I buy a 530 now and later, when funds allow, add SD card and other maps, will I still be noticeably worse off than if I'd bought a 730, say?

530 and 730 are the same device with the exception of the installed maps, the 930 however has the EPT system built in (Enhanced Positioning Technology) which lets the device dead reckon where you are in the event of a GPS position fix loss such as when driving through tunnels etc.
As for the maps you can add North American and European maps to any of the x30 devices when you install an SD card, the products all support SD and SDHC format cards up to and including 32GB in capacity - Mike
