TomTom 540 voice recogntion problems

My apologies if this is old ground. I did a search to try and check but got so many hits it made it impossible to tell.

I have recently purchased a TomTom 540 Live and so far I am very impressed with it. Now it's got the PGPSW speed Cam and POI file it's ended up being the business.

Now I've had a chance to play with some of its functions I have tried out the voice recognition. Has anyone else had problems with it just simply not doing what you expect? The command "Navigate to favourite." goes to a list and then asks which number. You respond and it hi-lights the chosen favourite. (so far so good) But then works out a route to a completely different one in the list. (I hope that makes sense) Time and time again I have tried it, chosing a different favourite each time and each time it navigates to a completely different one from the one chosen. Is this a software error?

Anyone got any other problems with the voice command system? Is it just simply easier and faster to ignore it and press the buttons as we used to in the good old days?

I look forward to any feedback on these issues.

That bug in its selecting the wrong Favourite has been reported here before.

It seems to be yes. It recognises the number you say and even highlights the right one but then routes for the next one down. I assume they'll get round to sorting it one day.
