Warning distance in km's to speed cameras

I know I have seen it somwhere before but as I'm here in Melbourne now, and having just updated my Europe may, which means my Aus maps has to go onto SD card, I've got to set up the warnings again - and I cannot remember how far away it is best to do it.

I know there is a 'standard' distance in yards or meters - but what is it please? Did a search but it's hard to find...

Anyone provide recommendation?

100 yds/ meters per every ten miles per hour or in your case every 7KPH will do about the same thing.

70MPH = 700 yards
110KPH = 770 yards using the above figures
