Hi All, I have a tomtom 710, I damaged my original SD card, so bought a new card on ebay (was this a good idea).
I insert the new card into my tom tom and get the error No maps found
I ran the clear flash tool from tomtom
Linked it up to tomtom home and ran the updates. (Tom tom home recognises it as a 510), it updates successfully.
Still No Maps Found
Any ideas how I can get round this problem?
Should I just buy an official map from tomtom?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou
In the past, have you made any BAck-Ups of your TomTom 910? If Yes, you should be able to transfer the Folders and files back onto your TomTom 910. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599

When you say you bought a card off eBay... was this a new BLANK SD card, or a card that was supposed to contain the TomTom maps and software?
TomTom maps are locked to one specific unit, so it's not surprising they won't work if it was the latter.
It's usually NOT a good idea to buy stuff like this from eBay!
As Ali says, with a previous backup everything is easy to restore, but without one, buying a new map from TomTom is the only safe, legal way to get up and running again.
